Recently, WWE had trademarked the term “global localization” for a number of uses. History has proven that whenever WWE trademarks a term, it’s usage has been widespread, recurring and essential to the product.

John Pollock took to his Twitter to explain this new phenomenon of global localization. The credit for this term goes to WWE COO Triple H as this term will be used with his brainchild NXT.

Triple H explained that WWE intends to create NXT brands all over the world and have it function as a “global territorial system”.
