Recently, WWE had trademarked the term “global localization” for a number of uses. History has proven that whenever WWE trademarks a term, it’s usage has been widespread, recurring and essential to the product.
John Pollock took to his Twitter to explain this new phenomenon of global localization. The credit for this term goes to WWE COO Triple H as this term will be used with his brainchild NXT.
Triple H explained that WWE intends to create NXT brands all over the world and have it function as a “global territorial system”.
Paul Levesque takes credit for coming up with "Global Localization". He explained their push to create NXT brands around the world as a global territorial system, reminiscent of the plan the company toyed with over a decade ago but never went through with. pic.twitter.com/bqgWHv1Cak

This might also explain why most of the United Kingdom division is delegated to NXT and the up-coming UK Show could very well be one of the first projects of this new worldwide phenomenon.
