Rumor Killer on WrestleMania 35 Location

It was rumored that WrestleMania 35 was going to take place in Detroit, but we can now confirm those claims are false.

The Twitter account @TicketDrew started the rumor last week on social media and mentioned that the announcement was going to be made in December for the Detroit location. WXYZ reports that Detroit didn’t even put in a bid to host the event, so for them to be a frontrunner would be impossible.

“The Detroit Sports Commission, which submits bids for major sporting events throughout the city of Detroit, said despite the rumor they did not submit a bid for WrestleMania 35, only 33 and 34.”

New York City and Philadelphia are said to be in the running, but nothing new about them potentially hosting has been revealed.
