While it could turn out to be nothing, Dave Meltzer indicated on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that Kevin Owens or AJ Styles could possibly be banged up.
Meltzer said that the AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens matches in Hawaii and Osaka were only around 6 or 7 minutes long and could be a sign that one of them is banged up but not hurt enough to be taken off the road.
“I don’t know what is going on with AJ and Owens, but they worked really short matches – like 6 minutes or 7 minutes so something’s up with one of them. It could be the headbutt for all I know.”
