The Taz Show Recap – NXT Analysis, Announce Teams Getting Themselves Over, Asuka Losing Her Main Roster Debut? More!

Block 1:

Taz opens today’s show speaking about last night’s episode of NXT.

He points out that at the end of Takeover, we saw Cole, Fish and O’Reilly standing tall over Drew McIntyre. Because of this, he thought it was strange that McIntyre opened up last night’s episode of NXT with a promo. He says that McIntyre’s a kick ass babyface, so NXT officials should let him kick ass.

Taz feels that the three heels should have opened the show with a promo segment, and then the heroic babyface (McIntyre) could have stormed the ring and attacked all three men. As a former Champion himself, Taz says that McIntyre should have stood up for himself here creatively.

As the show progressed Peyton Royce took on Ruby Riot, and he thought these girls had a good match. He has liked both women for a while, and he also likes the pairing of Royce and Kay. However, he thought the announce team were somewhat over the top during this match, and he says it’s simply impossible to make every match feel epic. The NXT announce team needs to pick their spots to react like that in Taz’s opinion.
