WWE RAW Spoilers – May 8th, 2017

WWE taped tonight’s episode of RAW today at the O2 Center in London, England. Here are the spoilers:

* Main Event match: Aleister Black defeated Curt Hawkins.

* Main event match: Noam Dar def. Gran Metalik.

* They introduced the announcers. London cheers Booker and Corey and boo Michael Cole.

* Dean Ambrose kicks off tonight’s show. The Miz comes out shortly after. Ambrose mentions that Kurt Angle is away and he will be acting General Manager for tonight’s show. The Miz said that Stephanie made him the acting General Manager. Braun Strowman comes out and said that he wants Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Kalisto comes out and challenged Strowman to a match. Strowman said he could beat Kalisto with one arm. The match is made between the two. Ambrose announced Miz vs. Finn Balor.

* Finn Balor defeats The Miz. Maryse got on the ring apron during the match and was accidentally knocked off by Balor. Miz got on the microphone and instructed the referee to DQ Balor. Ambrose comes out and restarts the match and bans Maryse from ringside. The match ends when Balor hits the double foot stomp on The Miz and got the pinfall victory.

* Backstage Nia Jax told Alexa Bliss that she wants a shot at the RAW Women’s Championship Title. Alexa says she will talk to Angle about it when he returns. Nia said for now, Alexa has a best friend.

* Alexa Bliss (/Nia Jax) vs. Mickie James (/Bayley). Alexa Bliss gets the win when Mickie is distracted by Nia Jax. After the match Nia Jax beats down Mickie James.

* The Miz confronts Dean Ambrose backstage. Miz points out that Dean hasn’t showered in a week. Dean goes over the listing for tonight’s show. Ambrose tells him he can go home. The Miz says he planned a special edition of Miz tv tonight. The Miz announces Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt for tonight’s show.

* Samoa Joe cuts a backstage promo on Seth Rollins. Rollins runs out and attacks him. The two brawl backstage before they are separated by WWE officials.

* Replays are shown of Braun Strowman attacking Kaliso.

* Braun Strowman vs. Kalisto. Braun gets on the microphone and says he’s not accepting the match because he is injured. He then calls Roman Reigns a coward because he won’t face him man-to-man. Strowman drops the mic and the bell rings. Braun goes after Kalisto. Out comes Roman and he is booed out of the building. The two stare each other down. Roman his Braun’s injured arm and then hits him with three superman punches. Braun rolls to the outside of the ring. Reigns runs at Bruan but gets a boot for his troubles. Braun goes after Roman but eats the ring post. Reigns lays in the punches. Reigns wraps Braun’s arm around the ring post several times. Reigns then gets a chair and starts to beat Strowman with it. Strowman makes his way through the crowd to escape.

* Samoa Joe vs. Seth Rollins announced for tonight’s show.

* Backstage segment with The Golden Truth. They talk about their win/lose record and about never winning the tag team gold together.

* Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, Enzo Amore & Big Cass, Goldust & R-Truth, Sheamus & Cesaro and Heath Slater & Rhyno in a Tag Team Turmoil match. The match starts with Enzo & Cass taking on Sheamus and Cesaro. Enzo taps out when Cesaro locks in the sharpshooter. Out come Rhyno & Slater next. “We got kids!” chants break out. Cesaro and Sheamus are dominating them. Brogue kick to Slater for the pin. Out come Gallows & Anderson next. Sheamus ends up getting the pinfall on Gallows. Out comes the final team, The Golden Truth. Sheamus and Cesaro end up getting the pinfall victory and will now face The Hardy Boyz for the RAW tag team championships. After the match Cesaro and Sheamus attack The Golden Truth. Out come the Hardy Boyz.
