Raw opens with a recap of Braun Strowman’s vicious beat-down of Roman Reigns – minus the crowd cheers of course.

The #MonsterAmongMen @BraunStrowman is FIRED UP and kicking off #RAW, RIGHT NOW on @USA_Network! pic.twitter.com/h1zH5xntMG

— WWE (@WWE) April 18, 2017

Strowman makes his way to the ring to a fair amount of cheering. He says he’s proud to say he broke Roman in half. Proud to say Roman left in an ambulance. He’s proud to say that Roman has a separated shoulder and cracked ribs. And he’s damn proud to announce that Roman won’t be here tonight – the fans chant “Yes!”. Braun says that now he will tear through the rest of the locker room.

Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring and Braun does not look happy. Angle asks what Braun is trying to prove and says he’s done enough damage. Strowman says there is more to come. Angle says Roman feels the same way and that Roman will have a match against Strowman at Payback, to which Strowman says it will be a funeral. Braun then asks who he will face tonight, to which Angle says he has the night off for what he did. Braun says he wants more competition or else. Angle and Strowman square-up before Braun leaves.

Tonight we will determine the number one contender for Bayley’s Women’s Championship, in a Fatal 4-Way match. Also Dean Ambrose will be a guest on Miz TV, and Chris Jericho will face Samoa Joe.

Seth Rollins comes out to join the commentary team for the next match.

*Commercial Break*

We return from commercial and out comes The Destroyer, Samoa Joe!

Samoa Joe Vs. Chris Jericho

Joe doesn’t waste any time in going straight after Jericho, as he pushes him onto the turnbuckle before unloading with fast punches and then stomps to the face.

Joe hits the ropes but Jericho catches him with a dropkick and he falls out of the ring. Jericho poses in the middle of the ring and the crowd goes nuts.

*Commercial Break*

We come back from the break and Samoa Joe is in total control. Joe plants Jericho in the middle of the ring and follows-up with a big slap to his back and a kick to his chest.

Joe attempts to keep him down with a shoulder lock, but the veteran fights back. Jericho starts to make a comeback but Joe stops it dead with a whipping powerslam. Once again Joe takes control and beats Jericho around the ring.

— WWE (@WWE) April 18, 2017

The Destroyer takes to the top rope and jumps for a leg drop but Jericho reverses and applies the Walls of Jericho! Joe fights out and in the scuffle that ensues, Samoa Joe gets his back and locks in the Coquina Clutch. Jericho tries to reverse it into a pin attempt, but Joe’s manages to hold it tight and even tighten the lock. Jericho eventually taps out.

Winner: Samoa Joe

Joe gets on the mic after the match and calls-out Seth Rollins for what ‘he did to Triple H and his wife, Stephanie McMahon’…and Rollins responds saying that they can settle their differences at Payback.

We see The Club walking backstage and Elias Samson is sitting around, playing the guitar. Before commercial we also see Goldust and R-Truth walking backstage and they have a match up next. Or they would have had…

Minding your own business backstage, @Goldust & @RonKillings? That is NOT OKAY with an outraged #MonsterAmongMen @BraunStrowman! #RAW pic.twitter.com/z2yTqpbBoz

*Commercial Break*

We see Braun sitting in the locker room. A referee walks in and tells him he has the night off and should leave. Strowman stands up and says he will leave whenever he wants to.

Anderson and Gallows come to the ring. Anderson says that Strowman gave The Golden Truth the United Airlines treatment, and so they’re left without opponents. They demand Kurt Angle send them two “nerds” to beat-up.

Enzo and Big Cass come out and call them SAWFT.

The Club Vs. Enzo & Big Cass

Cass starts off strong by dominating Anderson and he tags in Enzo, who gets in a couple of shots before tagging Big Cass again.

After beating on Anderson, Cass sends him out of the ring and they land Air Enzo as we head to a break.

INCOMING!!! @WWEAaLLday21 gets some air, courtesy of @BigCassWWE… and at the EXPENSE of @LukeGallowsWWE! #RAW pic.twitter.com/9IgitwawOu

— WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) April 18, 2017

*Commercial Break*

We come back from the break to see Enzo fight off Anderson and Gallows, but he can’t make the tag. Anderson floors Enzo with a flying boot for a near fall. During the commercial break, Anderson took advantage of a distraction to gain control. Enzo fights up from an arm bar, but Anderson whips him hard into his corner.

Gallows tags in and kicks Enzo. Gallows applies a wristlock, but Enzo fights up. Gallows quickly takes him back down with an arm breaker. Gallows continues to work over the arm before kicking him down in the corner. Anderson tags in and drops a knee. Anderson works on the arm before viciously slamming Enzo down with a sloppy spinebuster for a near fall.

And THIS is why @KarlAndersonWWE & @LukeGallowsWWE wanted to keep @BigCassWWE out of the ring! #HowYouDoin #RAW pic.twitter.com/g89ejvMcqH

— WWE (@WWE) April 18, 2017

Gallows tags back in, but Enzo fights him off and comes off the second rope with a diving DDT. Anderson stops Enzo from tagging in and punches him down in the corner. Enzo avoids a running boot in the corner. Both men fall out of the ring. Enzo gets in and tags Big Cass.

Big Cass takes down Gallows and Anderson. Cass avalanches Anderson in the corner and hits a sidewalk slam. Cass drops the Empire Elbow before hitting a nasty big boot. Enzo is tagged in, and they go for Bada Boom Shakalaka, but Cass throws Enzo into Gallows. Cass then big boots Gallows over the top rope and goes over with him. Anderson then slams Enzo into the turnbuckles and picks up the win.

Winners: The Club

Coming up next, The Miz will have Dean Ambrose on Miz TV.
