It was reported today via Pro Wrestling Sheet that Jim Ross is set to appear at Sunday’s WrestleMania 33 event to call one of the matches on the card. PWInsider has now confirmed that Ross will be calling the WWE Universal Title match between Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg.
Ross has also signed a new deal with WWE that will see him used for material on the WWE Network and occasional appearances on WWE TV to call matches. It is currently unknown exactly how many appearances he signed on for, but we will keep you updated if we hear anything.
It should also be noted that he signed the deal about five weeks ago, before his wife Jan passed away.
