WWE Raw on January 12, 2026, took place at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, with an early start time as part of WWE’s international tour. The show aired live on Netflix, and it was quite an episode.
The opening segment featured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions celebrating in the ring. Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky addressed the crowd as the reigning champions. They were quickly confronted by multiple teams staking their claim as next challengers, including Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and The Kabuki Warriors.
The confrontation led to a three-way tag team match being booked later in the night to determine the number one contenders. The winner of that match will face the champions during Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 24.
This match started out as a standard match, but it soon evolved into everyone in the ring at the same time. There were a ton of near falls, and pins were broken up at the last second. Also, there was some confusion over who was the legal woman in the ring.
In the end, Liv Morgan nailed her finisher on Kairi Sane just as she threw Roxanne Perez out of the ring. Then the chaotic #1 contender match was put to a close with Morgan and Perez pulling off the win.
Ripley and Sky won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on January 5, 2026, during RAW’s anniversary episode by defeating Asuka and Kairi Sane. This marked the first reign for the duo as a team, with the titles now being defended across RAW, SmackDown, and NXT.
