Rosa Mendes Got Heat In WWE For Not Hitting Jillian Hall

Michelle McCool defeated Melina in a Lumberjill match to unify the WWE Women’s and Divas Championship at Night of Champions 2010. Since it was a Lumberjill match, there were other women present at ringside as well. Those other women include Jillian Hall and Rosa Mendes.

During the match, Rosa Mendes went to punch Jillian Hall. However, Jillian Hall said she didn’t want to take the hit. During an interview with Ring the Belle, Rosa Mendes revealed that this incident got her in trouble backstage.

“She said don’t hit me, and then I got in trouble. She was like, ‘Not now,’ and then I was like, ‘Okay…’ But then they’re like, ‘You should have just hit her anyway,’ and I was like, ‘Okay…’ And then I’m like, ‘Hey, can you just cut that out in the tapes?’ They’re like, ‘It was live.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, but in the tapes, at least? Maybe some people won’t watch it!'” 

During the same interview, Rosa Mendes revealed that she was trolled on social media for botching a simple punch. She also spoke about the time she cried during a mishap during a match in 2014. You can check out the clip below to hear all about it.
