SmackDown started off with a big match between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair and it ended in a count out which was the only way this match could have ended without the title changing or anyone losing heat. But after the match, Flair speared Lynch through the LED wall and cut her arm to ribbons in the process.
Flair will be okay and she is able to compete in the Mixed Match Challenge later tonight. It’s a good thing she’s okay too because she’s going to need to be in great shape at WWE Evolution because SmackDown LIve General Manager Paige went on to announce a huge match later on in the night.
Flair will get another chance to capture Becky Lynch’s SmackDown Women’s Championship at WWE Evolution as they compete in a first-ever women’s Last Woman Standing Match.
This is yet another huge first at WWE Evolution since the event itself is a first-ever happening. Only time will tell if Lynch is able to retain her title through her next war, but they’re certainly off to a good start to have a historic encounter.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
