After a major restructuring at TNA Wrestling, the organization has recently bid farewell to several important figures in its backstage team. Lou D’Angeli is among those who have departed, and it seems another prominent name has also exited the company.

We had reported that Lou D’Angeli, formerly known as Lou E. Dangerously in ECW, parted ways with TNA Wrestling recently as part of the company’s latest round of departures.

In the F4WOnline Daily Update, Dave Meltzer reported that Lou D’Angeli’s assistant in live event promotion and marketing, Lily Arenallo, was also let go. This development further indicates that TNA Wrestling is heavily focused on cost-saving measures, cutting not just to the bone, but into the bone itself.

”On the TNA front, besides the release of Lou D’Angeli, which we noted on yesterday’s show, and Dave Sahadi, also let go was Lily Arenallo, who was D’Angeli’s assistant in live event promotion and marketing. Clearly the company is going heavy into cost savings mode right now  but this has been called more than cutting to the bone and actually cutting bone.”

We have also reported the reason for D’Angeli’s TNA departure and how his exit was received backstage. Only time will tell whether TNA will end up seeing more employees leave the company this year.
