Saraya Responds to Mercedes Mone’s Challenge Following Latest Callout

The prospect of a showdown between former WWE superstars Mercedes Mone and Saraya in AEW has fans buzzing, particularly due to their shared history. Since her arrival at AEW in March, The CEO has quickly established herself as a formidable competitor, prepared to take on any challenger.

On the other hand, Saraya was forced to retire from in-ring competition after sustaining injuries during a 2017 WWE MSG show. Notably, the injury that led to her retirement was caused by a kick from Mercedes Mone.

Now that both wrestling stars are part of the AEW roster, speculation about a potential feud has naturally emerged. When asked about the possibility of facing Saraya in the ring, Mone expressed her eagerness for the challenge.

Hearing Mercedes’ comments, Saraya took to her X to seemingly accept The CEO’s challenge citing their history and claiming that she has been waiting over six years to get her hands on the person who put her on the shelf for years.

“I’ve waited over 6 years to take more than just your championship @MercedesVarnado let’s go baby girl.”

Moreover, Saraya also stated that she eyed Mercedes Mone’s AEW TBS Championship which she won at the Double or Nothing event by defeating Willow Nightingale. With Saraya onboard for the challenge, it seems Mercedes’ new title reign has found a befitting challenger already.
