RVD Confirms Status for 2024 AEW Double or Nothing

RVD, widely regarded as one of the best wrestlers of all time due to his extraordinary in-ring skills, has recently been making appearances on AEW television. Now, he has confirmed his status for AEW Double or Nothing tonight.

AEW Double or Nothing is set to take place at the renowned MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 26th and there are a ton of matches that fans are looking forward to. On top of that, fans expect to see some surprise appearances as well.

While speaking on the 1 of Kind podcast, RVD clarified his status for AEW Double or Nothing. He mentioned that he is not officially booked for the show but hinted at the possibility of making an appearance to greet some people.

“I guess Sunday, and I just found that out, and it wasn’t from them, someone was asking if I’m booked on it. Which I am not. I may or may not pop in to say hi.

One thing that’s obvious to me that stands out as being interesting is that I have interest in popping in there. There might be several guys that I’d like to say hi to besides Tony [Khan]. A lot of the wrestlers that I’ve known for a long time and stuff. When WWE’s in town, I don’t get that feeling. If someone says do you want to pop in there, you know I don’t really know who I would say hi to. Is Booker T there? It’s harder to think of someone that I would connect with that I would be motivated by enough to actually want to get in the car and drive over there and see them just because they’re 20–30 minutes away or whatever.”

RVD also previously made it clear he is open to having an extended run in AEW. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see whether the WWE Hall of Famer will make an appearance on the show.
