Jey Uso’s transition to a babyface following his departure from The Bloodline has been a significant development in his WWE career. He had an incredible entrance at Backlash which was basically inspired by Bray Wyatt and it appears JoJo Offerman reached out to Uso after the show.

At WWE Backlash, the fans in France enthusiastically participated in Jey Uso’s entrance, echoing his movements in what was dubbed as “yeeting.” Jey Uso embraced this by dubbing himself the “Yeeter of Worlds,” a playful nod to Bray Wyatt’s “Eater of Worlds” moniker.

During an interview with Battle & Eli on the Battleground podcast, Jey Uso disclosed that he had a conversation with JoJo Offerman, Bray Wyatt’s widow, regarding the nickname. He expressed his joy in having the fans engage with him during his entrance and shared that JoJo’s validation of the nickname was particularly meaningful to him.

“It was just with me. I don’t want to ever…you want to call them fireflies or whatever you want to call them because that’s what they are to me. I was really happy it was with me and they did it with me.

The most I was validated (was when) JoJo, Bray Wyatt’s wife, texted me and said how emotional she was watching. She saw clips of it on YouTube and that let me know right there, ‘Alright, I’m going to keep it.’ I hope it sticks with me. I never asked for it. I think they did it and I want to keep it with me now.”

WWE also plans to highlight Jey Uso’s entrance from now on. Regardless, Bray Wyatt’s legacy now lives through Jey Uso and Uso couldn’t be happier to take up that mantle as well.
