The road to WWE King and Queen of the Ring is on the move with exciting developments on tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW, setting the stage for the line-up announced for next week’s show.

In the women’s division, the upstart Lyra Valkyria picked up huge victory over Zoey Stark and IYO Sky put down Shayna Baszler as part of the quarter-final matches of the Queen of the Ring tournament. Now, Valkyria and IYO will collide in the semi-finals of the tournament next week on RAW.

On the other hand, the tensions between Chad Gable and Sami Zayn will see another development, as the duo will face each other in a one-on-one bout next week on RAW, just before Zayn defends his WWE Intercontinental title against Gable and Bronson Reed at WWE King and Queen of the Ring.

Switching over to the King of the Ring tournament, The Ring General GUNTHER decimated Kofi Kingston in the quarterfinals, while a hard-fought battle between Ilja Dragunov and Jey Uso in the main event saw the leader of the YEET! movement walk away with the win, setting the stage for a match for a huge rematch in the semi-finals of the tournament next week, one Jey Uso hopes to win after coming up short the last time he faced GUNTHER.
