Zelina Vega, whose career has been on an upward trajectory since her return to WWE in 2022, has never failed to make waves no matter what she does. Sadly, she has been pulled from the Queen of The Ring tournament after sustaining an injury and has now broken her silence on the matter.

In case you didn’t know, Zelina Vega won the inaugural Queen of The Ring tournament in Saudi Arabia after defeating Piper Niven in the finals of the match. That’s why fans were excited to see her possibly repeat history again this year.

Unfortunately, Zelina Vega has been pulled from the Queen of The Ring tournament after sustaining an undisclosed injury. She was supposed to face Shayna Baszler in the first-round matchup but that’s not happening anymore.

Zelina Vega took to Twitter and broke her silence after being pulled from the match, as she admitted that she was utterly heartbroken.

”Heartbroken.. being the first ever, that crown was mi alma y corazón! That being said, I’m super grateful to have a history making moment in the @WWE history books. The 8yr old me is still super proud. @QoSBaszler this ain’t over. You can be Queen of Spades, keep them playing cards.. I’ll forever be the first EVER @WWE Queen Of The Ring. Maxine. You got this, sis. Show them who you are!!”

Maxxine Dupri will replace Zelina Vega in the match against Shayna Baszler, so we’ll have to wait and see how the young WWE Superstar will fare against the veteran. As for Vega, we hope she recovers as soon as possible.
