Location matters a lot, and this was proved with the reception for AEW’s All In and WWE’s Backlash 2024 PLE. Not only does the crowd, but also the origin of the stars make a difference. Some of the greatest professional wrestlers from the industry have come out from Canada.
Just to name a few, the WWE roster includes Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn who are considered to be two of the biggest stars of the industry. On other hand, the AEW roster includes one of the most respected veterans in the industry, Bryan Danielson and Adam Copeland.
In a recent interview on Hockey Night, Bryan Danielson was asked who was the greatest Canadian wrestler of all-time. Without taking any time, the AEW star named Kenny Omega as the greatest one. Danielson stated that while he is injured right now, he is one of the most fantastic stars in the industry.
“Gosh! I would have to say, this is going to be controversial. Kenny Omega. When you watch him, he’s hurt right now, he’s one of the most fantastic wrestlers you’ll ever see.”
Kenny Omega recently made his AEW return on the May 1 episode of AEW Dynamite where he was brutally attacked by the Elite. However, the star is yet to recover from his injury completely. Ringside News will keep you posted with the latest updates from the wrestling industry.
