The fallout edition of Monday Night RAW following WWE Backlash France was a spectacular show in Hartford, Connecticut as the promotion began its road to their next PLE, WWE King and Queen of the Ring set to take place on May 26 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Tonight’s edition of RAW saw multiple first-round matches of both tournaments take place with implications of their result setting the tone for next-round bouts on the upcoming edition of Monday Night RAW from South Carolina.

Main Event Jey Uso, who replaced Drew McIntyre in the King of the Ring tournament, won his match against Finn Balor. He is now set to face Ilja Dragunov next week in the quarter-finals, who made an impressive official RAW debut against Ricochet. The other quarter-final bout will see another RAW debutant, Lyra Valkyria square off against Zoey Stark, both of whom picked up the win in the first round against Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile respectively.

Additionally, IYO Sky, who defeated Natalya in the first round will square off against the winner of the match between Shayna Baszler and Zelina Vega at the upcoming WWE live event. On that same event, Rey Mysterio and Kofi Kingston will battle it out to face GUNTHER, who defeated his long-time rival Sheamus in the main event of RAW.
