Backstage Reaction After Wes Lee’s Unexpected Return to WWE NXT

Wes Lee suffered an injury last year and it was expected he would be out of action for almost year. That wasn’t what happened as he returned in just five months during NXT this week and now the backstage reaction to Lee’s return has been revealed.

At WWE NXT Spring Breakin’ Night 2, Wes Lee made a dramatic return, confronting NXT North American Champion Oba Femi in the ring. This confrontation happened right after Femi successfully defended his title against Ivar, as the two had a very solid match.

Fightful Select reported that Wes Lee received a warm welcome backstage from fellow talent, production staff, and higher-ups following his return at WWE NXT Spring Breakin’ Night 2.

We have also reported that Wes Lee is fully cleared for an in-ring return. We will have to wait and see whether Wes Lee will be able to defeat Oba Femi and reclaim the NXT North American Championship.
