Tiffany Stratton Reveals Scrapped Ring Name for Her During Debut

WWE Draft 2024 has finally concluded and a new chapter in the Triple H era of WWE begins after Backlash. While many superstars were sent on to the opposite brands, many of them were retained. One name among the list of retained ones is Tiffany Stratton. 

The former NXT Women’s Champion has been phenomenal since her debut on the roster and has risen to prominence in a very short span of time. Millions around the world love her for her work on the mic and in the ring with her character being one of the best ones in the company currently. 

During a recent appearance on the Insight podcast with Chris Van Vliet, Stratton addressed her signing with the company back in 2021 and revealed that she had a different name pitched during her debut. While Tiffany Stratton was the name she got, she was initially planned to get the name ‘Veronica Swanson’. 

However, with fans chanting Tiffy Time all around the world, it feels like Tiffany Stratton is a way better one. The Smackdown star is set to challenge Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship in triple threat match at Backlash. It would be interesting to see how things play out for her in the coming weeks.
