The May 1st, 2024 episode of AEW Dynamite is highly anticipated, focusing on the aftermath of last week’s episode. Fans can expect a lot of exciting developments and events on this week’s show.
Tonight’s spectacle is poised to transpire at the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with a scheduled broadcast at 8 PM ET on TBS. The organizers assure viewers that the event will be captivating for numerous compelling reasons, rendering it an essential watch.
Tonight’s AEW Dynamite will mark the first appearance of the year by Kenny Omega, following the incident last week where The Elite, his former faction, took out Tony Khan. The episode will also reveal who will face AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland at the Memorial Day weekend pay-per-view.
Two title matches are scheduled for the evening. Adam Copeland will defend the TNT Championship against a member of House of Black, whose identity has yet to be revealed. Additionally, Katsuyori Shibata will attempt to end Chris Jericho’s reign as FTW Champion.
Meanwhile, Mariah May will be in action, dealing with someone targeting her mentor, Timeless Toni Storm, who holds the AEW Women’s Championship. Serena Deeb is also expected to play a role in this developing storyline. After the show ends, AEW Rampage will air and it features Jay White taking on Dante Martin in a singles match.
