It’s Saturday night and you know what that means! AEW Rampage will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the April 27, 2024 episode.

AEW Rampage Results (4/27/2024):

The show opens up with a shot of the arena, then we go to the parking lot for the first match of the episode. Trent Beretta makes his way to the parking lot as Chuck Taylor is already waiting for him there.

Parking Lot Brawl: Trent Beretta vs. Chuck Taylor

The match starts off with both men exchanging punches. Chuck then sends Trent into a car. Chuck then has a trash can lid, but Trent kicks Chuck, picks him up, then slams him onto the hood of a car. Trent then picks up the trash can lid and hits Chuck in the head. Trent then opens up the back of a car and grabs a trash can and slams it on the head of Chuck and Chuck is busted open. Chuck then picks Trent up and slams him on the hood of a car. Both men are now on top of a truck. Trent then sends Chuck into a drywall sheet on the back bed of the truck and Chuck is bleeding heavily from the forehead. Trent then hits Chuck with a trash can lid. Trent ten picks up Chuck and sets him up on the roof of a car. Trent then jumps from one car to another and hits Chuck with a big flying elbow.

Chuck then sends a big flat screen TV at Trent. Chucks then sends Trent’s head into the tailgate of a truck and breaks drywall over the back of Trent. Chuck then picks up a dust pan and hits Trent with it. Chuck then hits Trent with a trash can on the shoulder. Chuck is now on top the bed of a truck, but Trent slams Chuck on light tubes on trash containers and Trent is busted open as well. Chuck then picks up Trent and powerbombs him through a windshield of a car. Chuck then covers Trent, but Trent kicks out at two. Both men are now on the roof of a car. Both men exchange blows. Both men are now on their feet and Trent low blows Chuck and then piledrives him on the roof of a car. Trent then puts Chuck in a headlock and he passes out and the referee calls for the match to end.

After the match, Trent picks up a plumbers wrench and hits Chuck in the ankle. Orange Cassidy and Kris Statlander then enter and Trent tells Orange it is his fault. Orange and Kris then check on Chuck.

We then head to the back, where Kyle O’Reilly is being interviewed. O’Reilly says that on Saturday, May 11th AEW will be in his hometown of Vancouver, Canada. O’Reilly then says that he is coming back to compete against the best.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: “La Mera Mera” Thunder Rosa vs. “The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo

The match starts off with Rosa taking trash to Deonna. Deonna then hits Rosa in the face. Deonna and Rosa then lock up. Deonna then kicks Rosa in the mid-section. Rosa then fires back with a punch on Purrazzo. Rosa then puts Deonna in a headlock. Deonna then fires back and drops Rosa. Deonna then grabs the left arm of Rosa and kicks it. Deonna then uses the bottom rope to tie Rosa up. Purrazzo then charges at Rosa and kicks her. Rosa then recovers and sends Deonna headfirst to the turnbuckle. Rosa then comes off the ropes and gets caught by Deonna. Deonna then rolls to the floor and Rosa takes Deonna down. Deonna then hits Rosa with a pump kick to her face.

Rosa then hits Deonna with a running drop kick. Rosa then hits Deonna with another running drop kick and only gets a two count. Deonna then comes back and kicks Rosa. Deonna then covers Rosa, but Rosa kicks out at two. Deonna then picks up Rosa, but Rosa reverses it into double stomps and only gets a two count. Rosa climbs to the top rope, but gets caught by Deonna and gets puts in an armbar. Rosa then gets out of the hold. Deonna then picks up Rosa, but Rosa rolls up Deonna for a two count. Deonna then puts Rosa in another armbar, buts Rosa rolls her up and gets the win.

After the match, Deonna attacks Rosa and sends her into the steel rails. Deonna then picks Rosa up and slaps her. Rosa then slaps Deonna and both women are fighting on the stage area. Security then come out to break it up as the fans boo.

We then get a video package of Will Ospreay winning the Casino Gauntlet Match on Dynamite.

We then head to the back, where The Undisputed Kingdom is being interviewed. Matt Taven and Mike Bennett tell Tony Khan to get better. Roderick Strong then says the world can sing the praises of Ospreay, but it won’t matter. Strong then calls himself the messiah of the back breaker.

Big Bill then makes his way down to the ring for the next match and Trevor Blackwell is already waiting.

Singles Match: Big Bill vs. Trevor Blackwell

The match starts off with Big Bill taking Blackwell out as Chris Jericho is shown watching the match from the backstage are. Bill then says watch me Chris and picks Blackwell up and slams him down. Bill then covers Blackwell, but only goes for a one count. Bill then slams Blackwell down and says to watch him and wants Jericho to teach him. Bill then picks Blackwell up and chokeslams him. Bill then puts his boot on the chest of Blackwell and gets the win.

We then get the entrances of the main event, which is a Tag Team Match.

Tag Team Match: Katsuyori Shibata and Daniel Garcia vs. Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty)

The match starts off with Shibata and Garcia sending Taylor and Moriarty to the floor. Shibata then suplexes Moriarty as Garcia sends Taylor into the barricade. We now return to the ring as Taylor tags Moriarty in. Shibata then grabs the legs of Moriarty, but Moriarty responds with a knee to Shibata. Shibata then tags Garcia in and Garcia hits Moriarty with a twist and shout. Garcia then chops Moriarty and Taylor grabs Garcia as the referee is distracted. Taylor then drops Garcia on the floor. Garcia is then sent back in the ring and Taylor is tagged in. Garcia then tries to fight back, but Taylor responds with several chops and then a huge right hand. Taylor then covers Garcia, but Garcia kicks out at two.

Taylor climbs to the middle ropes, but misses the splash. Taylor then tags Moriarty in and Moriarty kicks the left hand of Garcia. Garcia then fights back and drops Moriarty on the mat. Garcia then tags Shibata in an Moriarty tags Taylor in. Garcia then hits Moriarty with right hands in the corner as Shibata hits Taylor with some right hands as well. Shibata then hits Taylor with a kick in the face. Shibata then chops Taylor as Garcia dances. Garcia then hits Taylor with a running knee. Both Garcia and Shibata then suplex Taylor. Moriarty is tagged in and Moriarty chops Shibata, but it has no affect on Shibata. Taylor then enters and he hits Shibata. Moriarty then picks up Shibata and slams him down. Moriarty then covers Shibata, but only gets a two count. Moriarty then holds Shibata as Taylor charges, but Shibata gets his foot up. Shibata then kicks Taylor as Garcia picks him up and slams him down. Shibata then kicks Taylor and covers him for the win.

After the match, Shibata and Garcia celebrate as we get a rundown of Wednesday’s Dynamite. Garcia then dances in the ring, then goes to the stage area to high five the fans as the show comes to a close.
