Since AEW’s Fight Forever’s launch nearly a year ago, it has faced criticism for its restricted match modes, creation suites, and other features, lagging behind the WWE 2K series in terms of success. In an effort to increase the game’s appeal to fans, AEW Games is gearing up to introduce a thrilling new addition to the game in the form of Samoa Joe.

A social media announcement revealed that AEW World Champion Somoa Joe will join the roster as downloadable content (DLC) on May 8th. Joe’s addition to Fight Forever comes at a fitting time, as he prepares to defend his AEW World Title against Swerve Strickland at the upcoming Dynasty event.

Fight Forever has been steadily expanding its roster since its release nearly a year ago, with notable names like Claudio Castagnoli, HOOK, and Keith Lee joining the fray as DLCs. Available on multiple platforms including Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC, the game continues to offer fans the chance to engage in thrilling AEW-inspired gameplay experiences.
