Logan Paul Responds to Samantha Irvin’s Hypocrisy Following WrestleMania 40 Main Event

Logan Paul has emerged as one of the most remarkable WWE superstars of this generation, despite coming from a non-wrestling background. Amidst his glorious success, he found himself subjected to remarks by WWE announcer Samantha Irvin.

The Maverick had posted a video of his reaction of him getting excited and emotional on witnessing The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes dethrone Roman Reigns and become the new Undisputed WWE champion in the main event of WrestleMania 40 Sunday, leading to Samantha labeling him as a cringe overreactor.

During recent edition of his Impaulsive podcast, the current WWE United States Champion addressed the issue. He fired back at Samantha Irvin for being emotional on Cody Rhodes’ monumental victory, whereas she herself felt the same emotion visibly and exposed her hypocrisy.

“I got emotional watching Cody win, and the ring announcer bullied me. The ring announcer, Samantha Irvin, bullied me. The fiancé of Ricochet, who I beat twice, she bullied me on Twitter. She called me a ‘cringe overreactor.’ It got a ton of favorites. I took it as irony, because if you see the video of her announcing Cody, she’s sobbing. It’s a funny way to take a dig at me, because I’m a cringe overreactor, bro, I’m an overreactor as f*ck. But, she reacts too, so I thought it was kinda funny.”

Among the champions who ushered into the new era of WWE, Logan Paul is the only one from the previous regime while all title holders have changed. He retained his US title on WrestleMania 40 Sunday against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens with the help of IShowSpeed and marches forward as the champion to welcome further challenges in WWE.
