Cody Rhodes and The Rock had a very heated feud in the months leading up to WrestleMania 40, which included a lot of profanity from both sides. In fact, Rhodes has now admitted he feels somewhat guilty over a non-PG promo he used on The Rock.

During the March 18th edition of Monday Night RAW, The American Nightmare had lot to express following The Rock’s verbal onslaught, especially towards his family, during The Rock’s popular ‘Rock Concert’ segment.

Acknowledging Roman Reigns as a great champion, Cody Rhodes turned his attention to The Rock, refuting his claim of being a heel. Rhodes took a jab at The Rock’s influence at the TKO Board, mentioning the ‘We Want Cody’ movement. He then addressed The Rock’s remarks about his mother, asserting his respect for The Great One’s mother and highlighting his own mother’s strength.

Rhodes also called the veteran “an a******” with “little d*** syndrome.” While speaking on the SI Media podcast, Cody Rhodes addressed what he said and admitted he felt guilty about the promo, as he didn’t want his younger fans to ask their parents what ‘little d*** syndrome‘ meant.

“Fans in the arena loved it. There was a huge joy to this interview I did. However, for me, I felt a little guilty because I have a lot of young, young, young fans and I would never want them to ask their mom about ‘LDS’ or this or that.

My run with WWE has been really for the family audience, and really for the little nightmares, these little kiddos. I just wouldn’t want to lead them astray in any way and hopefully, that interview didn’t turn them off to me, if I am their guy, as their guy. Everyone after was so pumped about it, my wife was digging it, and I remember thinking I felt a little guilty.”

It is to be noted that WWE has relaxed their PG guidelines for top stars, which is why Cody Rhodes was able to use such language. Regardless, Cody Rhodes is now the Undisputed WWE Champion and he is more concerned about that at the moment.
