Drew McIntyre became a major star in recent months thanks to his incredible social media game, where he would roast the likes of CM Punk, Seth Rollins and more. Even after his WrestleMania 40 loss, McIntyre made it clear he won’t stop his social media shenanigans.

When Drew McIntyre captured the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40, it provided a somewhat feel-good moment. Despite his recent heelish behavior, McIntyre had effectively conveyed his significance to WWE during the pandemic era of shows, a narrative he continued to emphasize even as late as the WrestleMania pre-show.

Following his victory, McIntyre’s celebration was cut short as he shifted his focus to taunting CM Punk at ringside. Their exchange quickly escalated into a physical altercation, drawing the interest of Damian Priest. Priest seized the opportunity, cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase for an immediate title shot. McIntyre’s championship reign was abruptly ended, shocking fans.

The Scottish Warrior took to Twitter and noted to fans that despite his crushing loss, he will not stop roasting people on social media no matter what.

”You think I’m finished roasting people on this stupid app because of Mania?”

Drew McIntyre also lost his chance to challenge Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after CM Punk’s interference on last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. We will have to wait and see what’s next in store for The Scottish Warrior.
