WWE is gearing up for the April 12, 2024 episode of WWE SmackDown. Now, we have a spoiler lineup and all the backstage notes you need before the show.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that tonight’s SmackDown has a lot in store for fans. The lineup for next week’s show goes as follows:

WWE SmackDown (4/12) Spoiler Lineup:

  • Cody Rhodes is scheduled for a promo segment.
  • A Contender Tourney match featuring LA Knight, Santos Escobar, and Bobby Lashley is planned.
  • The Bloodline will have an in-ring promo.
  • Cameron Grimes will face Bron Breakker in a match.
  • Bayley is expected to deliver a promo.
  • Naomi will compete against Tiffany Stratton.
  • A tag team match, the details of which are being kept under wraps to avoid spoilers.
  • Another Contender Tourney match, pitting Kevin Owens against AJ Styles and Rey Mysterio, is scheduled.

WWE SmackDown (4/12) Backstage Notes:

  • Dan Engler is slated to referee the main event.
  • Johnny Gargano versus Angel has been set for WWE Speed.
  • A dark match featuring Cody Rhodes against Dominik Mysterio is planned.
  • Jey Uso will face Solo Sikoa in another dark match.
  • WWE has arranged for a simpler, smaller screen setup for tonight’s Smackdown set.

Other WWE SmackDown (4/12) Spoilers:

  • The main event match will span two segments.
  • The women’s tag match and Bron Breakker’s match are allocated one segment each.
  • A tag team match, again withheld to avoid spoilers, will involve Piper Niven & Chelsea Green versus Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill.
  • Tama Tonga is reportedly present in Detroit tonight, as per PWInsider.
  • Each promo segment has assigned producers, potentially indicating physicality.
