WWE Royal Rumble 2026 Potential Location Revealed

WWE Royal Rumble is one of the longest-running and most enthralling PLEs for the company has a rich lineage and history, as part of WWE’s Big 4 shows alongside WrestleMania, Survivor Series, and SummerSlam.

The latest edition of WWE’s Premium live event was held at the Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida with the fans witnessing some spectacular moments, surprise returns, and Cody Rhodes’ back-to-back Royal Rumble victories that led him to championship glory at WrestleMania 40.

Moreover, the city of Milwaukee is making a bid to host a future Royal Rumble event at American Family Field, which is scheduled to be winterized after the 2025 baseball season. CBS 58 in Milwaukee reported that state leaders have been in discussions with WWE officials, pitching the idea of hosting the Royal Rumble in Wisconsin as early as 2026.

According to the report, city and state representatives met with WWE officials in Philadelphia during WrestleMania weekend to discuss the possibility.

“A source, who asked not to be identified because they did not want to share too much about the conversations, said city and state representatives met with WWE officials in Philadelphia last weekend during the company’s biggest annual event, ‘WrestleMania.'”

While details of the conversations were not disclosed, VISIT Milwaukee President Peggy Williams-Smith expressed enthusiasm for the idea.

“We would love to welcome WWE’s Royal Rumble to Milwaukee in a future year, and WWE knows it!“
