New Title Match Confirmed For AEW Battle of The Belts

Since the beginning of her ROH Women’s World Championship reign, Athena has been on a whole different level. The AEW star has defeated some of the biggest names in the industry since her title win and has proved to be one of the most prominent stars in the company’s rich history. 

Coming out of the ROH Supercard of Honor, Athena ended up with yet another successful title defense against Hikaru Shida. Following the big win, Tony Khan has now announced another big match for the champion. With AEW Battle of the Belts coming up, Khan has announced that Athena would defend her ROH Women’s World Championship against Red Velvet in singles action.
