Since his return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023, CM Punk has been one of the biggest stars in the entire wrestling industry. The Best in the World has mended the fences with numerous backstage but a handful of them have still not accepted his return to WWE.

Among numerous big names, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre are two who have still not come to terms with Punk’s return. Recently, the Visionary revealed that his reaction to Punk’s return was very unprofessional, but that was because he had nothing good to think of for the former WWE Champion.

Drew McIntyre has also been very vocal of his hatred for CM Punk. During the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that the Scottish Warrior’s hatred for CM Punk was real and that he was legitimately upset with his return to the company after insulting it numerous times in the past.

“Remember when Punk showed up, he legitimately was not happy. He did walk out. I know people think that one was a work and conveniently with hindsight, they’ll probably bring it up but on that night it was not a work. Seth was a work because Seth was gonna be the one to work with Punk at the time.”

CM Punk will take a seat ringside along with Michael Cole, Pat McAfee, and Corey Graves as a special guest commentator for the World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre.
