While the wrestling industry has featured the birth of some of the biggest legends in the industry currently, one of the most talented names is Triple H. WWE’s recent success couldn’t have been possible without Triple H’s massive contributions in the creative unit of the company.

While The Game has been the mastermind of WWE currently, his wrestling career has been a roller coaster ride as well. Though the 14-time World Champion has had an incredible in-ring career, he couldn’t end it on his terms. Back in 2022, the Game announced his retirement following some major heart issues that he faced and was suggested not to get back into the ring.

Ahead of WrestleMania 40, the Game appeared on a special edition of the Pat McAfee Show and was asked about his plans to return to the ring any time in the future. While Triple H revealed that he trains regularly, he didn’t plan on returning to the squared circle anytime soon.

“I still train, I still do all that. I don’t think so. I don’t think I should be out there taking bumps. I rode it til the wheels fell off, almost literally. I’m great with that and I was at a place where I should have been retiring anyway. I wanted to be done with it. The last year right before this all happened, I had been asked to go to WrestleMania for 2 days [and] ‘I need ya, you can work with anybody you want.’ I said, “I don’t think I wanna do it.” … I thought about it and I was gonna go back and say I’m not doing it and then I had to not do it so I was already there. I’m good with it. I have zero regrets.”

With his revelation, it is clear that Triple H doesn’t regret retiring from the ring and has no plans to make a return. With his recent success as the CCO of WWE, it doesn’t seem like him returning would be necessary. Ringside News will keep you updated with this story.
