Roman Reigns was born into wrestling royalty and was destined to be a part of greatness ever since he started his career in WWE back in 2012. However, days before he defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania 40, old footage showcased his claim to greatness years before it happened.

In an old video from almost decade ago that resurfaced online recently, Roman Reigns can be seen in an in-ring segment with former WWE interviewer Renee Paquette on an episode of WWE Main Event.

It was at that very moment that Roman Reigns claimed the status of the ‘Head of the Table’ years before he transitioned into that role and arguably, became one of the biggest WWE stars of all time.

“I take my rightful place at the head of the table … Believe that.”

As it has been evident, the journey of Roman Reigns from hard-luck underdog babyface pushed down to the fans to become the dominant Tribal Chief has been nothing short of remarkable.

Moreover, adding to his spectacular run has been his 4th longest World Championship reign in WWE history which was recently immortalized in special WWE Legends episode released on WWE on A&E.

With Roman Reigns heading into one of the most important title defenses against Cody Rhodes in one week at WrestleMania 40, we will have to wait and see if he continues to sit at the head of the table with the title or plans to call it quits, should he lose the championship as he clearly stated.
