Paul Heyman Envisions Roman Reigns As A Perfect Fit For Any WWE Era

Roman Reigns has been considered a generational talent who burst onto the scene as the muscle of The Shield and transitioned himself into the biggest WWE superstar of the modern era.

After years of trying to reach his full potential, Reigns returned to WWE in August 2020 after brief hiatus donning the Tribal Chief gimmick and aligning himself with Paul Heyman. As soon as that happened, his career sky-rocketed to the next level with his new demeanor and record-setting World Championship reign that has lasted until this date.

Considering Roman Reigns’ exceptional run he has witnessed closely over the years, Paul Heyman made a bold proclamation in regard to his Tribal Chief. During recent interview with Sports Illustrated, The Wiseman stated that Roman Reigns could easily fit into any of WWE’s historic eras and go head-to-head with the biggest stars of those generations.

““he would fit into any era–whether it’s in the 70’s against Sammartino, the 80’s against Hulk Hogan, the 90’s in the Dangerous Alliance, the Attitude Era against Stone Cold and The Rock and DX, the John Cena era of The Doctor of Thugonomics, or now in the tenure being enjoyed by Roman Reigns, in his own era he created, when he lifted the whole industry out of the pandemic and into unfathomable heights that no one could have imagined or dreamt of back in August of 2020.”

Roman Reigns’ historic run and 4th longest WWE championship reign of all time would be cemented in special WWE Legends episode that has been directed and executive produced by Reigns’ Special Counsel himself, Paul Heyman.

On his work front, Reigns is set to team up with his cousin, The Rock to collide against Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 Night 1. Following that, he would defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Rhodes on Night 2 of the show in one of the biggest WrestleMania rematches of all time.
