Shawn Michaels hasn’t competed in an official capacity since WWE Crown Jewel 2018, yet he remains a beloved figure in the world of professional wrestling, with fans often expressing their desire to see him perform one more time.

However, Michaels has consistently stated that he is content with his role in running NXT and mentoring the next generation of talent. Despite this, the possibility of him delivering his iconic “Sweet Chin Music” still intrigues fans.

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Michaels was asked whether he could still execute his signature move. While admitting that he could still execute a superkick and has plenty of “single shots” left in him, Michaels clarified that they wouldn’t be anything impressive.

“I can still always throw a superkick, easy. I got a lot of single shots left in me, but nothing too impressive, that’s for sure,”

Meanwhile, since stepping away from active competition, Michaels makes rare on-screen appearances on NXT television and as part of D-Generation X reunions. As a WWE NXT executive, he has made some interesting changes to the show. One of those changes was bringing in some notable main roster stars like Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley to appear on NXT, adding his veteran insight to the development of emerging talent.
