After having an exciting run in AEW, Andrade El Idolo made his return to WWE during the Men’s Royal Rumble match this year. Since then, the former United States Champion has been featured in numerous vignettes and won a couple of matches as well. Andrade has now revealed how doctors told him he’d never have the same strength again.
The Mexican Superstar has already impressed fans with his in-ring skills and overall presentation. During his time in AEW last year, Idolo was out of action due to injury and fans were worried if he would ever be back.
Andrade took to Twitter and uploaded a video of himself working out using heavy weights, as he revealed how doctors told him he’d never have the same strength again, but he persevered and proved everyone wrong.
”The Dr told me that maybe I wouldn’t have the same strength at 100% but Dr, trainers and dedication make it possible!! I’m sorry I forgot my beautiful wife, she pushed me at the gym!!! @MsCharlotteWWE”
Andrade El Idolo also revealed the name of his new finisher after this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. We will have to wait and see what’s next in store for the Mexican Superstar.
