Since his passing in August 2023, the WWE Universe has passionately advocated for Bray Wyatt to be posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame. Recognized for his contributions as a former WWE Champion, many believed Wyatt to be a deserving candidate for such an honor. However, the reason behind his absence from the Hall of Fame induction has recently been revealed.

Following Bray Wyatt’s untimely passing last summer, WWE announced new documentary, ‘Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal‘, set to premiere on Peacock on April 1st, 2024. The teaser shared on their official social media platforms ignited anticipation and respect for the tribute.

Many fans wanted Bray Wyatt to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, but he wasn’t ultimately announced for this year’s class. While speaking to Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Bray Wyatt’s father Mike Rotunda was asked about his son not being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Mike Rotunda stated that he believes WWE decided it was far too soon for Bray Wyatt to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He admitted that it was actually less stressful for The U.S. Express to get inducted first instead of Wyatt.

“With Windham passing, I thought they were gonna immediately put Windham into the Hall of Fame, which he will be in at some point.”

”I think WWE reassessed stuff and thought it was too soon to go there with our family and the reactions and the stress on us. We got a call from WWE and [they] said Hunter wants to do a Zoom call. We were thinking they were gonna tell us what was gonna happen at WrestleMania and Hunter said, ‘You guys are gonna get inducted. You and Barry were a part of the first [WrestleMania] show. It’s very flattering obviously and actually less stressful on us because of all the stuff that we had to go through with Windham passing, just the mental capacity of it.”

Bray Wyatt’s legacy will forever endure in the hearts of his family and devoted fans. His profound impact on the wrestling world will be remembered for generations to come, ensuring that his memory remains cherished and revered.
