Fans were treated to a surprise cameo by none other than skateboarding legend Tony Hawk on the March 27th, 2024 episode of AEW Dynamite. Making a special appearance alongside wrestler Darby Allin in a video promo, Hawk’s presence added an extra thrill to the show.

During the segment, Allin disclosed his plan to embark on a daring journey to climb Mount Everest in support of Hawk’s foundation, The Skatepark Project. This noble cause prompted Hawk to take the opportunity to promote his foundation on television.

Formerly known as The Tony Hawk Foundation, The Skatepark Project aims to empower underserved communities by facilitating the creation of safe and inclusive public skateparks for the youth. Hawk’s dedication to this cause shone through as he seized the moment to raise awareness for the foundation on the AEW platform.

In a delightful display of camaraderie, Hawk further engaged the audience by demonstrating two skate tricks using Allin’s cast, despite the wrestler nursing a broken foot.
