LA Knight has been one of the most remarkable stories of going from a mid-card talent to rising above as WWE’s top-tier attraction, courtesy of the intriguing relationship he developed with the WWE Universe.

However, the global juggernaut’s resident Megastar understands the dynamics of winning over the fans who are in attendance each week for the shows and millions watching across the globe and has his own theory to approach the same.

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, LA Knight revealed that he has the lyrics of a particular song by worldwide music sensation Kanye West stuck in his head in his way to deal with the fans and put an effort to build a relationship with them without trying too hard.

“Not at all, but I know there have been points in time where I’ve been like, ‘Maybe I need to do this,’ and I’ll catch myself. In all seriousness, I remember a Kanye [Kanye West] lyric. ‘When you try hard is when you die hard.’ For some reason, that just sticks in my head. You know people in life that have tried too hard to get people to like them. You know they are well-meaning and have good intentions, but it’s like, ‘Slow down, you don’t need to do that, you’re coming off as corny.’ It’s just along those lines. I need to put in effort, but I don’t want to try hard.”

LA Knight’s special bond with the WWE Universe turned him into a popular attraction on WWE’s weekly television. Moreover, he is set to compete in his first major singles WrestleMania bout against AJ Styles in two weeks.

The duo have been feuding since the last month with the most recent development seeing LA Knight getting arrested for invading AJ Styles’ house. With WrestleMania 40 on the horizon, it would be interesting to see how the leader of the YEAH!! movement fathoms in a top-caliber match against a legend like Styles.
