WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently shared a health update on the latest episode of the “Kliq This” podcast, revealing that he has been sober for five weeks.

“I quit drinking. I think today is week 5,” Nash stated during the podcast.

Reflecting on the changes he’s noticed since giving up alcohol, Nash mentioned the avoidance of empty calories and carbohydrates before bedtime. Instead, he opts for a protein shake as his final intake of the day, containing minimal calories and carbohydrates but high protein content.

Nash admitted that he used to consume a bottle of wine every night but decided to make a change due to concerns about developing a fatty liver as he gets older. He explained that a fatty liver can hinder the body’s ability to break down fat, prompting his decision to quit drinking.

To alleviate the monotony of consuming only water throughout the day, Nash shared that he discovered an alcohol-free IPA beer, which he now enjoys with dinner. This substitute provides a refreshing break from drinking water while still maintaining sobriety.
