Drew McIntyre is marching full steam ahead on the road to WrestleMania 40 with the opportunity to claim the destiny that has alluded him for the last four years, as he is set to collide with Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins for his World Heavyweight Championship on Night 2 of the show.

During tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW, emanating from the PNC arena in Raleigh, NC, as McIntyre made his way to the ring for his in-ring segment, he was cut off mid-way by the appearance of his Mania opponent, Seth Rollins who seemingly overshadowed his presence right from the get-go.

The verbal back-and-forth began between the two fiery opponents, as Rollins admitted to being a ‘spotlight junkie’ as Drew coined him to be. But he was not going to let Seth’s funny antics get to him and made it clear that the World title was his only focus.

After his usual CM Punk dig midway through the segment, who is set to appear on RAW next week, Drew McIntyre received a verbal spat from Seth Rollins who seemed all business right after, stating that both Nights of WrestleMania 40 would have the brightest lights on him.

However, the Scottish Warrior made it clear that his issue was Rollins looking for the spotlight from his tag team match alongside Cody Rhodes against The Rock and Roman Reigns and not just by his high-stakes title match against him.

That was the moment Rollins sounded off on Drew’s past WrestleMania main event win in an empty warehouse and concluded that he was not good enough to hang with him on The Grandest Stage of them all going down in Philadelphia this year.
