The controversy surrounding John Laurinaitis, particularly his alleged involvement in Vince McMahon’s hush money settlement scandal and the subsequent trafficking lawsuit, has drawn widespread attention. Following these allegations, WWE made the decision to sever ties with Laurinaitis. Moreover, he was implicated in Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit, where he asserted his innocence and claimed to be victim of circumstances.
A former WWE star has publicly stated that Johnny Ace, as Laurinaitis is known, is simply a bad person, underscoring the gravity of the situation. Chuck Palumbo, a former WWE Superstar, echoed this sentiment during an interview with Mone & The Pharaoh, expressing that Laurinaitis’s character leaves much to be desired based on his personal experiences and observations.
“Johnny Ace [John Laurinaitis], I mean, listen, I’m not gonna beat around the bush, he’s not a great person,” Palumbo said. “He’s not a good person, unfortunately.”
“My experience. Things I saw. Yeah, yeah. It was both.”
The lawsuit brought forward by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon and others in the WWE hierarchy, including Laurinaitis, alleging sexual misconduct and trafficking, has had significant repercussions. McMahon resigned from WWE, and the organization has scrubbed all references to him following the lawsuit.
