Kenny Omega Foresees Bryan Danielson Rematch as a Match of Epic Proportions

Kenny Omega is considered the Best Bout Machine, and he is hailed as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time for good reason. This includes his iconic match with Bryan Danielson, and it appears Omega foresees a rematch with Danielson as a match of epic proportions.

At AEW Grand Slam 2021, shortly after Bryan Danielson’s debut at All Out, he faced off against AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in a highly anticipated singles match. Despite the title not being at stake, the two competitors delivered an intense bout that ended in a time limit draw after 30 minutes, leaving fans eager for more from this dynamic rivalry.

During a recent Twitch stream, Kenny Omega shared his thoughts on his match against Bryan Danielson at AEW Grand Slam 2021 and the potential for a rematch between the two. Omega expressed pride in their initial encounter but acknowledged that a second match would likely bring a different dynamic, given their experiences since then.

Omega hinted at higher stakes and a visually distinct bout, suggesting that another match with Danielson could be more than just another routine wrestling match but rather a significant event that transcends expectations.

“Even though my first match with Danielson, I’m really proud of that match, and that was a real fun one. I feel like now that we’ve seen our fair share of stuff and we’ve both been through the ringer a little bit, a second match with us in AEW will probably be visually a lot different and that stakes would be a lot different. I think it would be exciting to do another match with Danielson. That could be something that, at least for me, something would transcend another day at the office.”

While Bryan Danielson is set to square off against Will Ospreay at AEW Dynasty next month, Kenny Omega remains absent from in-ring competition after suffering from diverticulitis. Only time will tell whether fans will get to see a rematch between the two pro wrestlers.
