WWE is moving full steam ahead on the road to WrestleMania 40, with SmackDown in Memphis Tennessee being the latest stop that will be headlined by the appearance of The People’s Champion, The Rock. Spoilers have surfaced regarding matches scheduled for this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

With WWE’s announcement of a 6-pack ladder match for the WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania, more qualifying matches will go down on upcoming RAW and SmackDown shows to fill the remaining slots.

WrestleVotes has confirmed the two qualifier matches set for Friday with Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate going up against Elton Prince & Kit Wilson, and LWO taking on their heated rivals, Legado Del Fantasma, while Randy Orton and Grayson Waller will collide in a singles match.

“SmackDown tonight will feature Randy Orton vs Grayson Waller along with the following two WrestleMania Tag Team Title Qualifying Matches: The New Catch Republic vs. Pretty Deadly and LWO vs. Legado del Fantasma.”

Previously, there were plans for The Rock to host a ‘Rock concert’ segment, although the status of this segment remains uncertain. WrestleVotes noted that creative interest remains in the segment, especially with Roman Reigns absent for the night.

“It’s still TBD I’m hearing. Creative liked the idea considering no Reigns tonight. We’ll see.”

Additionally, announced segments for SmackDown include The Rock’s response to Cody Rhodes slapping him, a match between Bayley and Dakota Kai, and the return of Rey Mysterio.
