WWE’s business has experienced significant growth over the past year and a half, with notable increases in live event attendance and financial gains attributed to lucrative media rights deals. In terms of touring, WWE frequently opts for stadiums or arenas with modified stage setups to accommodate larger crowds.

They often utilize tunnel entrance sets or smaller stage designs, similar to the setups seen at last year’s Survivor Series in Chicago or the Royal Rumble two months ago. WWE is planning to revert to this stage setup for events scheduled this summer.

WWE has officially announced a live SmackDown event on July 5, followed by Money in the Bank on the subsequent day, and NXT Heatwave on Sunday, July 7th. These events are scheduled to take place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

WrestleTix, known for its comprehensive tracking of ticket sales, has observed that the updated TicketMaster map reflects a distinct stage setup for the upcoming events.

”WWE has opted not to utilize its large stage for the Smackdown/Money in the Bank/Heatwave shows in Toronto, ON at Scotiabank Arena. The pre-sale for the combo package just went live (see threaded post for code/link). Current price range is $287 CA – $2,950. Under this minimal setup, they will be able to fit over 18,000 people in the reserved seats.”

We will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to bolster their events in the coming months, as the company is truly on a hot streak that will likely not end anytime soon.
