For decades, Paul Heyman has demonstrated a profound and genius understanding of the professional wrestling industry. As he gears up for a well-deserved WWE Hall of Fame induction this year, Heyman has explained the reasons behind his decision to finally accept the Hall of Fame induction this year.

As previously reported, Paul Heyman is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. This wasn’t a surprise for those who followed his career, as he has been a major part of WWE programming for several years now.

While speaking with TMZ Sports, Paul Heyman revealed why he turned down a Hall of Fame induction while he was still managing Brock Lesnar. Heyman noted how he wanted his work with The Bloodline to be part of his Hall of Fame induction.

“Well, I mean, imagine it this way, if I had accepted the award while I was The Advocate for Brock Lesnar and none of my work with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline was part of my Hall of Fame induction, then by now, we’d be sitting there saying, ‘Oh, how did we induct him five years ago and missed this whole chapter of his career.'”

The Special Counsel to The Tribal Chief also revealed that he agreed to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year because he knew Roman Reigns would still dominate as a champion.

“So, you know, the only thing that gives me pause this year is that Roman Reigns and I are not going anywhere. We plan on sticking around. He will continue to be the reigning defending Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion in the greatest title run of all time and the part of the industry that we are viewing to disrupt now, which would be a disruption of the disruption that we started in August 2020.”

CM Punk was also suggested to induct Paul Heyman into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Paul Heyman’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame is a monumental event for the pro wrestling world. The anticipation is high to see who will join The Wiseman in the Hall of Fame Class of 2024.
