WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has been an inspiration to numerous stars in the wrestling industry. From his style of wrestling to his backstage attitude, everything has been commendable since his time in the Attitude Era.

Hogan and Vince McMahon go long back. With a lot of history together, the WWE Universe is aware of numerous stories involving both. However, the 70-year-old has also had interactions with Vince McMahon Sr. during his time in the Attitude Era.

In a recent interview with The Stakscast, Hogan revealed an interesting incident he had with McMahon Sr. In his early days, the latter wanted Hogan to feature as the hero for the Irish-Americans. For that, he gave the Hall of Famer two bottles of red dye for his hair.

However, after having a chat with Freddie Blassie, former WWE superstar, he decided not to dye his hair red and was afraid of getting fired by the Boss. However, when he came face to face with McMahon Sr. again, the latter was cool with it and let the matter slide without saying anything.

He goes, ‘well, I’ve got Pedro Morales for the Puerto Rican-Americans, and I’ve got Chief Jay Strongbow for the Native-Americans, Bruno Sammartino for the Italian-Americans. I want you instead of being Terry “The Hulk” Boulder, I want you to be Hulk Hogan for the Irish-Americans’. ‘Now here’s two bottles of red dye to dye your hair red.’ I’m going bald headed as it is, if I put this red dye in my hair, the party’s over. When I went back to see Vince McMahon for TV the next day, my hair wasn’t ready, he goes: oh, don’t worry about it, you’re fine. And he just let it go.
