The March 6th edition of AEW Dynamite had a lot to deliver following a very intriguing and exciting AEW Revolution pay-per-view. While the show had numerous matches to feature, the highlight of the night turned out to be the Young Bucks’ shocking announcement which was followed by a brawl.

The EVPs of AEW lost to Sting and Darby Allin in the former’s last wrestling match at Revolution. However, heading into Dynamite, the duo had some massive announcements to make. Starting with Hangman Page’s suspension, the Young Bucks got a lot of heat from the fans. However, this was followed by Kenny Omega getting fired which made millions furious.

Apart from the fans, ROH World Champion Eddie Kingston also got frustrated and came out to attack the duo before ending up in a 2-on-1 assault. However, little did anyone expect, Kazuchika Okada made his debut in the company and turned it into a 3-on-1 assault hinting at a possible feud with Kingston.

Following Dynamite, Tony Khan announced Okada as the newest member of the Elite. As per a new report from Dave Meltzer, plans for Okada joining the Young Bucks had been in the books for months. It was always planned for Dynamite after AEW Revolution 2024.

“It’s like that one, the Young Bucks segment with Okada that has been known not by me, but it’s been known by the Young Bucks and Okada and Tony Khan, for literally months. It was Tony Khan’s idea to do this a long time ago. You know, like it was the show after Revolution.”

With a new member in the Elite, the faction has got much stronger in terms of their power. Having hinted at a rivalry with Eddie Kingston on Dynamite, kicking the heat off in the next couple of weeks won’t be a surprise.
