Lex Luger had previously confirmed his attendance for Sting’s final match at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view. In the main event, Sting and Darby Allin energetically defended their AEW World Tag Team Titles against The Young Bucks.

However, fans noticed that Lex Luger was not featured on the pay-per-view despite being in attendance. According to PWInsider, Lex Luger and Diamond Dallas Page did not appear on the pay-per-view broadcast because of their contractual obligations to WWE.
