Ricky Starks has been part of AEW since 2020 but recent rumors circulating on the internet suggested that Ricky Starks might be done with AEW and he is a free agent. Tony Khan has now finally confirmed Starks’ AEW status amidst such rumors.
In case you were not aware, just before AEW Revolution this week, rumors spread like wildfire that Ricky Starks was a free agent as his contract expired and that he would make his way to WWE.
While speaking during the post-AEW Revolution media scrum, Tony Khan was asked about Ricky Starks’ status in AEW amidst his free agency rumors. Khan confirmed that Starks is still with AEW and is under contract.
”I don’t know about the rumors, Ricky Starks is part of AEW and is definitely one of the best wrestlers. Ricky is definitely still under contract in AEW.”
It is certainly good to know that Ricky Starks is still part of the AEW family and will continue to entertain fans for a long time. We will have to wait and see what’s next in store for Starks.
