The Young Bucks immediately began feuding with Sting and Darby Allin after returning to AEW television back in January. They are set to face Sting and Allin at Revolution this week, and they have now sent a final message to Sting before the retirement match.
Sting is slated to compete in his final match on March 3rd at AEW Revolution 2024. The WWE Hall of Famer will join forces with Darby Allin to defend their AEW Tag Team Championships in a tag team tornado match against the Young Bucks.
The Young Bucks are booked as the ultimate heels for Sting and Darby Allin, as many fans feel they are the right pick for Sting’s retirement match. Ahead of the bout, The Young Bucks took to Twitter and sent a final message to Sting and Allin, as they also told fans to be happy Sting had a career in AEW and not to be sad it will end.
”Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened. lol”
We will have to wait and see whether Sting and Darby Allin will triumph over The Young Bucks, so that he can retire undefeated in the company. As unlikely as that seems, fans would love for that to happen.
As a reminder, Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of the event in our AEW Revolution hub. Keep checking back for any late breaking news, rumors and spoilers heading into the show.
